Part-time lover, full-time friend.

This sucks. I totally wasted the one week break. My readings are still waiting for me and I'm still not done with a 1000-word essay/movie review.

Not looking forward to next week. Just looking at my schedule for next week scares the shit out of me. The page is filled to the max with something written for each day. This project meeting, that assignment due, blah blah blah.

Finally caught Juno last evening. It's very cute and lighthearted. But I think younger audiences may be misled by it cos the situation (16yo girl got pregnant, decided against abortion and gave up the kid for adoption) was dealt with quite lightly. But I guess this is too common in the American context. If the story were told in an Asian setting it would totally take a different perspective.

Speaking of which, there is a Korean movie with a similar storyline. It's titled Jenny. Won't be surprised if it turned out that Juno was inspired by Jenny. But Jenny's plight was more intense and her parents made a much bigger fuss about it.

Btw, anybody wanna watch PS, I Love You and cry our hearts out together? I cried bucket loads just reading the book.
