Save the trees!

It was Earth Day yesterday!

I did my part, in an attempt to minimise the usage of paper:

Print multiple pages on a single sheet of paper!

Becoming cock-eyed trying to read though. Teehee. You can call it stupidity but at least I did my part for this dying Earth. Really disheartening that our environment is undergoing intense pollution and disintegration. The unpredictable weather conditions is a testament to that.

And it doesn't help that there's a worldwide rice shortage. And we gotta be thankful that the effects are not felt in Singapore, yet. Recently articles have been propagating the nutritious value of POTATOES. Apparently, they are fat and cholesterol-free! Yeap, french fries not included hor. Eat it mashed, boiled, baked and roasted!

Speaking of mashed potatoes, brings to mind a funny incident a couple of weeks ago at the sci fac Megabites canteen. Choice of potatoes for that day was mashed potatoes. This lady queueing behind us ordered "fish with SPLASHED pototoes". ZOMG. And she said it super loudly and confidently, and repeated it thrice. The guy who took her order was shocked too, and tried to contain his laughter. Sophie, Rebecca and I were trying very hard not to burst out laughing. Think I suffered some minor internal injury trying to stifle my laughter.

Okay, that's alot of crap for today. Back to my books! SOB.
