Same old new.

I survived the first week of school and quite enjoyed being back in campus. It's great to meet up with familiar faces again; to sit in the lecture halls trying to pay attention to the lecturer while simultaneously conversing with friends in hushed voices.

The new arts canteen is finally completed and in operation. It looks totally nothing like the previous one. The landscape has transformed entirely, the walls are white-washed which makes the place look much brighter and cleaner. Ventilation is much much better too. My favourite stalls still remained, like the yong tau foo and the japanese food. There are new additions such as burgerking, lerk thai and olio dome if i'm not mistaken.

My friend and I were discussing that it is quite easy to spot/pick out a freshie from the mass of people in campus, especially the girls. They are typically either too dressed up ( it's like a fashion parade, either that or they are dressed to go clubbing) or they go everywhere in groups of 4 to 8. And they have I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT SCHOOL!!! written across their foreheads.

NM3210 cybercrime and society
NM3224 culture industries
SC1101E intro to sociology
IT1003 infomation systems applications (bleaugh. ran out of choices.)

Anyway, the flu bug is on the rage now. People everywhere are coughing and sneezing and wheezing. Do take care and drink lotsa water and eat lotsa fruits and veg, or the other solution is to stay home and avoid crowds :D
