Catching up.
Gonna be rather occupied this week. A few meet ups, some errands to run and gotta (re)pack my bursting cupboard.

Rachel invited the jo, sihui and I to her place yesterday for a hightea for her 23rd birthday. She prepared her delicious mini quiches, apple crumble and chocolate fondue which were all really good. One of her friends bought a birthday cake for her, the famed durian cake from goodwood park and I can't quite believe that I actually took a few mouthfuls of it. And for a person who feels like barfing at the slightest whiff of durians, I gotta admit it tasted really good. Like PHWOAR. Was a nice cosy get-together. Her cousins were also invited, so after the meal we all settled at the livingroom for a game of singapore taboo.

Before that was lunch with the church people. Was jo, sihui and I, plus the younger ones like jasper, stanford, stacy and norman. It has been ages since I last mingled, chatted and joked with them over a meal. It's been a few years since I graduated from youth fellowship and it brought back many fond memories.

Had dinner with Charmaine this evening at missclaritycafe and dessert+coffee at this viet cafe at seah street. They serve yummy dripped cinnamon white coffee and caramel pudding. Nice place to chill out.

Checked out some games on her new nintendo ds lite and it's so darn cute! Very tempting to get one myself. Heh. Shall ask dad if he wants a new toy to add to his collection :D

Only the start of the month but think I already burnt quite a big hole in my pocket. But I finally got my mika cd! Despite his very quirky music videos, hairdo, high-pitched vocals and unusually large eyes, I thought he actually looked rather dashing in the cd sleeve. Mrweng thinks that the pics must have been photoshopped/visually enhanced. Well, we'll never know. But his music is definitely growing on me!

And I think I'm a maniac. I'm almost finished with HPATOOTP and I'm sucha eager-beaver, can't wait to unravel what happens next so I actually bought the harrypotterandthehalfbloodprince. Once I'm hooked onto something, that's it. Same like the initial d anime craze, the fanatic Rain phase (quite over him already :P). Regretting a little now man, perhaps should have borrowed from library/friends. Tsk. Impulse purchase!

Yikes, what a lengthy post. Think I'll stop here, hit the showers and finish up the last few chapters. The flu bug's been on a rage recently, so take good care and stay healthy people!
