Was uncle yang's birthday celebration/bbq/gathering on friday evening. Although most of us were rather pooped out after the fire's gone down, the entire thingy was fun and quite a blast.

And here's a list of Dos and Don'ts for a successful & fun bbq:

DOs:
- Have a variety of food to fill hungry tummies. There were so much food! Chic wings/chic fillet/stingray/squid/satay/otah/crabsticks/sausages/tidbits.
- Music to blast and sing along. We had a mini karaoke session right smack at east coast park pit D 34. Think other people around us or those who passed by thought we were mad.
- The usual birthday cake/blowing of candles hoo-ha plus prank on birthday person. The brotherhood, as usual, up to no good, bought a slice of cheesecake to surprise uncle yang. But he never got to know how it tasted cos it ended up on his face in a jiffy.
- yet another prank on birthday person. Tricked uncle yang into eating squid head/eyes! Poor dan and hao were victims too. Mwahaha. It was really gross. Feel quite bad about it actually. Heh.

DON'Ts:
- Buy too much food. There were LOTS AND LOTS of sausages, courtesy of my dear brother. Quite alot of leftovers after everyone had their fill, so the boys decided to finish bbq-ing all those, and there was a mountain full of them, can eat until ooze out of ears and nose.
- Although extremely fun to smash cake into birthday person's face, it will incur wrath of birthday person. The boys got chased around by uncle yang, while the girls watched on in amusement.

That pretty much sums up that evening's event. We should have it once every half a year!


I know it's damn late already. But since I have the urge to blog, better do so, cos I haven't been blogging much recently and I don't know when's the next time I will.


Things can get really exaspperating. It's strange how one can love and be annoyed ( I try not to use the word hate) with a person at the same time. mrweng, some times you really drive me up the wall. It's annoying how you can make me so mad at you one minute and then smile at the way you try to make it up to me the next. ROAR!


Looking forward to the new week. Finally gonna meet Rachel for dinner; it's been so long since we had some bestfriend-time. Meet up with my cjc trumpet section! Shrek with mrweng on friday, yay!
