It's been kinda quiet and lifeless around here lately. Well that's cos yours truly has been working lots, and when she ain't workin she's sleeping, if she ain't sleeping, she'd be doing other random stuff other than typing all these rubbish.
Recently noticed that the number of readers of this blog increased, especially but strangely during the short hiatus. Like from 3 a day (pathetic i know, must be the terrible lack of and overly uninteresting content) to a whooping twenty-one readers a day! But that was like a one-off thingy larh. Then from then on an average of about 18 a day. Hurhur. I don't know why the hell i'm even gloating about this. Just found the slight increase amusing. Hence i shall try my best to update this more regularly and also improve in the content, however do bear with the frequent speowling and glammar mistakes and incoherent and sleep inducing content.
Celebrated uncle yang and melanie's birthday this evening at the wheelock nydc. Baked pasta, baked rice, pizza, free flow of ice water (unlike Ba*ahem*kerz*chokes*in); yummy mudpie topped with a candle each for the two birthday people; uncle yang feeling very exaspperated trying to unwrap his present cos sheena wrapped it with damn alot alot of newspapers.
Hope the both of you liked the gifts and the dinner and everything!
Ohhh, before that sheena caro and i watched x-men! YAY! Me thinks it was as good as the previous two, although i cannot really remember much of the last two, hence i shall refresh my memory soon if i got time to watch the dvds.
(Major SPOILER ahead, read at own risk if you haven't watched it and you plan to watch it.) So right, this latest installment of the x-men trilogy actually has some element of a tearjerker in it. I actually teared when jean grey(the phoenix) destroyed professor charles xavier ( i lurve his name) into smittherins, and when wolverine despite and because of this love for jean grey and for the good of the world before she actually destroys everything, had to kill her. Damn saddening.
Ohhh, and i also watched the da vinci code a few weeks ago. I don't know why but watching it was a totally different experience and feel from reading the book itself. i guess it's most the time like that, visual images may have a greater stimulus to the brain and all that crap. But then i felt kinda sickened and disgusted after watching it. It was very disturbing. I mean, being a believer of Christ for most of my life, and to have a totally warped and distorted portrayal that christianity is a scam, i cannot swallow it down man. I guess one has to be very discerning after reading the book and watching the movie.
For those who haven't watched it, i suggest don't. Perhaps i should have taken heed in the advice of my bible study leader, seok. She said something like she'd never pay to watch anything that is a lie.
Okay larh. I is very tired already. Hope you guys had a great weekend. I love you all!
