Despite all the differences between caitlyn and arthur, there's perhaps one similarity.
They are both extremely pragmatic people, and maybe to the point of being unromantic.
Hurhur.
They vowed, crossed their hearts and hope to die, that they'd never ever fall prey to fancy schumancy restaurants, florists, chocolate shops ( aka godiva, royce, etc.) during valentine's day. Call them stingy or whatever, they don't care. They'd rather spend their money on other stuffs than to pay exorbitant prices for this one day affair.
Well, people always say, "Everyday is a valentine's day when you're with the person you love."
Caitlyn and Arthur totally agree. HAHAHAHAHAH.
So they headed down to east coast park. To cycle. It was actually their third time since they got together. And it's something that they both enjoy.
Caitlyn can't really ride the bike for nuts, screamed whenever she loses control of the bike and when arthur tried to be funny and get in her way. But she despite all that, she loved the wind in her hair and face, the exhilration and adrenaline rush when she rides down slope.
Perhaps the best part was taking a rest at Bedok Jetty. The bouts of silence they shared, staring at the sparklers as they ignite, their brilliance, and then they die out. It was shortlived. Caitlyn wished the sparklers would go on forever.
Total expenditure for the day:
Dinner at Kenny Rogers - $24.80
Bicycle rental - $15
Waffles at Gelare - $5.80 (it's tuesday! waffles at half price! slurps.)
Miscellaneous - $3
TOTAL: $48.60!!!
Budget, simple, but fun-filled day:)))))))
Happy Vday ARthurrrrrrr! XOXOXOXOXO
