balloting for tutorials today made me super super pissed off.
it's like the entire world's trying to log into CORS that there's too much traffic and it took me forever to log into my account.
okay, chill pill. i managed to ballot already.
stupid silly system.

i think im quite screwed for my 1st film and history project. 25% of the entire grade goes to the discussions and comments between group members in the forum. after reading what my group members wrote, i felt intimidated and worried. those were extremely well written comments. and it stunned me that i may not be able to write as well as these people. ive always have this handicap in expressing my thoughts coherently and using good phrases to describe them. so i figured that i'll attempt a "draft" here. in my own personal space where i feel most comfortable, then prolly u guys can give comments and prolly after a lil bit of editing it'd be posted up in the forum for public scrutiny. sigh, this is so kiasu and kiasi of me man. typical singaporean.

History tells a story. In film, this can be presented as a narrative or as a documentary. Based on the two films and the readings, which do you prefer and why?
the film i watched in this week's tutorial is Merchants of Cool. it's a documentary about the youth culture in America, how marketing agents and advertisers tap into the mindsets of teens to attempt to create products and services which appeal to them, and thus increase sales. next week's film would be the movie Josie and the Pussycats, on the same issue.

will post up my draft hopefully by friday.
