abt a week since i last blogged.
pffft. too damn lazy as usual.
i'll try my best to recall the happenings for the past week.
last tuesday i finally met up with arthur's funny best friend, jason.
he really cracks us up man.
art's mum prepared her very very yummy steamboat feast and invited jason and i for dinner.
then we headed down to clarke quay, hoping to find some fun at this "settler's cafe" which cindyrella told me abt.
but then i very silly la, nvr listen to information properly. apparently it's not at clarke quay itself. so we decided to settle for drinks and desserts at tcc.
it's been ages since i last walked along clarke quay.
there's like this major revamping and renovation works. the entire stretch looks really pretty and chic now. the ambience for outdoor dining seems more comfortable, dome-shaped coloured shelters fills the entire stretch. very nice place to chill out.
then saturday was rachel's bday party at her place.
art and i met earlier in town to buy her a stalk of sunflower. then the journey to her place killed us. there was a road block that day due to the national day parade rehearsal.
knowing that, i stupidly chose to take the risk and took a bus to her place.
wa lao, the traffic jam drove us nuts in the bus. after what seemed like forever, like almost 1hr and 30mins we finally reached, both of us very starved.
her party was a pleasant event.
there were tables set up in her garden for the guests and candles were lighted and placed on every table. one of the main perks of her party was the choc fruit fondue she prepared for the guests. two thumbs up!
really happy for my best pal. what a great way to celebrate her 21st bday with her family and loved ones.
went back to catholic junior college on monday with xuemei and jiam to collect our A level certificates.
woah, the trip back was v nostalgic man. brought back many fond memories. the sch bus stop, the canteen with the below average food, the grouchy administrative ladies in the general office, the green quadrangle, the classrooms.
to think that i spent 3 years in this place which i once called a hell-hole.
saw our fav gp tutor, Mr tamilselvan and our darling home tutor miss ang. and surprise surprise! we saw ms jean yeow too! she seems so nice now, totally not intimidating at all. to think that i used to dread her lessons so much.
so yes, that's roughly all the updates so far.
work's the usual. im gonna work much lesser next week onwards cos sch's starting soon.
