well, it turned out to b a veri pleasant outing with my ex IJ frens..had fun meeting up with the rest, laughing n talking, reminiscing abt the past n sharing abt our lives now..
so, we had lunch at olio dome at wheelock..and the food was great..esp the thai chicken salad..yum..sat there for like almost 2 hours talkin n laughin..and i think we were talkin too loudly that the manager had to tell us were too loud n had to lower our volume, wad a mood dampener..after that we got a little umcomfortable n had to control our laughters..michelle was like pissed off at the manager n started staring at him n giving him the look..
after lunch, began our long walk n search around town for a place where we won't get interrupted due to our loud chatter...but alas, coffee club at wisma n coffee bean at taka were darned crowded..n charm had a sudden craving for fries (we jus had lunch not too long ago)..but finally settled down at marche for dessert..daph had to go for some chalet n left 1st..we had waffles wif icecream n fruits n it was realli realli good..den we started snapping pics of michelle n every1 else..
time passed quickly, n it was time to part..but shan charm n me decided to stay on in town..so we were jus walkin on n on..and we came upon a sign which says "Fort CAnning Park"..long flight of stairs all the way up to darkness..den shan suggested that since we've got nothin much to do, jus go for some "adventure".i got freaked out jus lookin at the stairs leading to nowhere..but got no choice n had to go..i got so freaked out i started running den they had to run wif me..den we came upon the starlight movie screening at the park..too late, so made our way all the way down the scary hill, back to civilisation,clarke quay, where we found starbucks (hurray!) n settled down wif a nice rhumba frap..but the advanture did not end here..aft that went searching for the new clarkequay mrt station..so we were oohing n aahhing at the new train, new station..cheap thrill realli..but it was fun.
and yes, i gota start saving again..money in my bank's running low..spent so much on food alone today.
okay, this is kinda lengthy..but yea, kinda sums up a tiring but memorable day...a break from all that studyin...tmr's back to work..and crap, my parents r crazy..they insist i wake up at freakin early 6am to go jogging (!!) wif them..augh..no way man..i need my sleep..
so yea, that's all for now..gona study a bit of history before sleepin..
